Since their initial collaboration in 2019, New Balance and Aimé Leon Dore have held a fruitful partnership, with a slew of coveted, grail-worthy sneakers following. So much so, that Teddy Santis is set to take over as Creative Director of New Balance’s sought-after Made in the USA line in 2022. This season, the two labels continue their harmonious partnership, with New Balance’s 993 brought under the spotlight.

Pigskin Suede & Mesh Uppers

The sneaker reflects the refined, yet laidback, aesthetic so often associated with both labels, combining a premium construction with a distinctive colourway.

Aimé Leon Dore-Branded Heels

The uppers of the shoe are cut from pigskin suede and breathable mesh in hues of beige, blue and maroon, while the sneaker’s chunky, ABZORB-cushioned sole unit comes in contrasting black. To further the elevated aesthetic, the Queens-based label’s branding is detailed at each heel, replacing the shoe’s usual “USA” embroidery.
