This Uptempo 96 QS features an upper made of a gridded textile base dressed in Pink Foam, Sail and Light Thistle tumbled leather overlays with the signature ‘AIR’ trim on the sides. 3M reflective detailing appears on the outline of the ‘AIR’ trim, the die-cut Swoosh at the heel, and the branded tongue tag that displays Wilson Smith’s initials and his first day at Nike. Other details include a lacing system with hook-and-loop closure with lace locks, a mesh tongue, more Nike branding on the Swooshes and outsole, and Smith’s signature on the right insole. The sole unit with visible Air windows on the midsole and herringbone-patterned outsole completes the design.
